In September 2026, Xi Jinping will visit the United States.

We believe that this is not only a meeting between the leaders of China and the United States; it can also become an opportunity for different political positions to engage in direct, rational, and peaceful exchange.

We therefore appeal to Mr. Xi Jinping:

to hold an open dialogue with the China Democracy Party and with other Chinese civic political forces that advocate democracy, freedom, the rule of law, and a peaceful political transition.

We do not wish to solve China's problems through violence, nor do we wish to create new divisions through hatred.

We hope, through face-to-face communication, to discuss the most important questions concerning China's future:

• Can China gradually move toward democracy and the rule of law?
• How can the basic rights and political participation of the Chinese people be safeguarded?
• How can peaceful political reform and a peaceful transfer of power be achieved?
• How can confrontation and fear within Chinese society be reduced?
• How can a China be built in which different political positions can compete peacefully and coexist peacefully?
• How can China establish more stable and rational relations with the United States and the international community?

We are willing to sit down and talk.

Not on the premise of overthrowing anyone, not for the purpose of humiliating anyone, and not solving problems by violence.

What we hope to discuss is:

the future of China, and the future of its 1.4 billion people.

If a country's problems can be resolved through dialogue, it should not move toward conflict.

If different political positions can sit at the same table, then history may yet see an opportunity for peaceful transition.

Therefore, we extend to Mr. Xi Jinping a simple and clear invitation:

Please sit down and talk with China's democratic forces.

Let us talk about China's past, present, and future.

Let us try to find a path:

a path of peace, democracy, the rule of law, freedom, dignity, and national reconciliation.

This is not a declaration of war.

This is an invitation to peaceful dialogue.

Dialogue, not confrontation.
Peaceful transition, not violence.
Democracy, not dictatorship.
A future for China, not revenge against anyone.
